Task 1 Media Industry

• Publishing (novels, books etc.) -  This industry is a industry that designs and makes various of publishing books which incudes books, journals, newspapers, news agencies, magazines and business media, directories and mailing list and other information services. 
  
  

• Magazines - The magazine industry designs and make magazines for various of audiences. They make, design, create, print and write articles for their magazines.
  
  
• Newspapers - This industry prints and writes articles as well as designing the formal look of their paper. They would also distribute their newspapers to shops and businesses to buy off them.
  
  
• Animation - This industry involves you to use advanced software such as flash and photoshop etc. For this industry you will have to know how to draw animations as well as how to create it in flash and photoshop. This industry creates cartoon and film animation which is used either for film and childrens television, but it can also be used for video games as well.
  
   
• Film - This industry comes up with film ideas to film and plan out. This industry involves planning, production and post production. So, this industry films their idea as well as editing which is post production as well as to distribute the films for their audience to see.
  
  
• Television- This industry is a industry where you would have to work behind the camera weather you are recording television programmes or on live television. This industry also distributes their progammes day and date as television industrys do have their own channel station for their audience to see.
  
  
• Web 2.0 - This industry is known as new tecnology. This indusry is known as the internet where it used to create the internet using web 2.0, examples include youtube.
  
  
• Music - This indsutry popular amongst everyone, as this industry records and sign up popular artist and music groups/bands. This industry will produce and record music for their demographic to listen in to and buy. This industry will involve making ans selling music as it will involve and composer and audio editer etc.
  
  
• Radio - This industry is presented out live on radio or pre-recorded for everyone to listen into. This industry will have presenters to talk about the latest news, music, chat rooms, gossip and many more. This industry is a industry where it will have their own radio station and their own channel name. radio stations also distribute their channels via radio, online, phone etc.
  
  
• Video Games - This industry basically makes, designs, creates and distribiute games to local retailers. They will make their game designs as well as draw their own ideas. They will also distribute their games to gaming retailers and insutries.
  
  
• Facilities - Facilities, this is where we use locations and equipment for us to do our planning, production and post-production. examples include, radio station, for this we would need a radio studiowhich has the certain elements which include a mixing desk, microphone and editing suite etc. Without facilities we would not have any of these industries which include tv, film, radio, photography and photojournalism etc.
